HIDEC’s Reopening Plan
The 2021-22 school year will be our time to recover, rebuild and renew the spirit of HIDEC. Working together, educators, therapists, students and families will continue to address upcoming challenges with resiliency, tenacity and determination. This document is intended to provide guidance to our families as we plan to reopen our school whether instruction occurs in person, remotely, or in some combination of the two. Specifically, the document outlines the essential elements that will include HIDEC’s reopening plan, as well as recommended best practices for moving forward in these incomparable times. ** Please be aware that HIDEC will be following the same protocols put forth in the 2020-2021 school year for the health and safety of our students, families and staff. The only change that will be made from the original protocol is optional masks outside ONLY for students and staff.**
